Microsoft Corp. has unveiled Microsoft Dynamics SL Version 6.5, formerly called Microsoft Business Solutions Solomon, after the product spent five months in beta development.
The newest version will have enhancements in five key areas, including its purchase and bank requisition modules, its application server, an expanded Windows SharePoint Services-based portal, and project-driven distributor tools.
Sold as a separate module, the new purchase requisition module automates the procurement process and can be set up to support purchasing policies either by company, department, cost center or projects. The Bank Reconciliation module is also sold separately and allows users to reconcile company bank statements in electronic formats.Pricing for the Purchase Requisition module is $1,050 with the licensing of Microsoft Dynamics SL Standard, or $1,500 for the Professional Edition. Pricing for the Bank Reconciliation module is $350 with the licensing of MS Dynamics SL Standard, or $500 with the Professional Edition. Additional licenses may be required.
