Management Information Systems has introduced version 4.0 of its MISys small business manufacturing software with a new shop floor control module that helps manufacturing businesses analyze production costs more accurately.
MISys SBM 4.0 also includes features to help manufacturers gauge the time required to build any quantity of an assembled item. By adding routing details to existing bills of material, MISys SBM creates a detailed list of ingredients and sequence of operations.
Version 4.0 also includes an integral capacity management system that can evaluate the production load placed on any work center and identify any that are overloaded.
