Moss Adams Merges in Rowling Dold

San Diego wealth management firm Rowling, Dold & Associates has joined Moss Adams Wealth Advisors, the wealth management division of accounting firm Moss Adams.

The combination boosts Moss Adams Wealth Advisors’ assets under management to more than $1 billion. The merger took effect Jan. 1.

The RDA team is led by Sheryl Rowling, a CPA and personal financial specialist who joins Moss Adams as a partner. “Joining up with Moss Adams will allow us to focus on what we do best—enhancing the wealth of our clients—while gaining valuable new resources and support,” she said in a statement.

Rowling has provided tax and financial planning advice since 1979. She has been named a Top Wealth Manager by Bloomberg (2004-2009) and Best Personal Wealth Manager by San Diego Business Magazine (2005-2009).  She was also named one of the nation’s top 250 financial advisors by Worth magazine and listed as one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential in Accounting. Her book, Tax and Wealth Strategies for Family Business, published by CCH, is a leading publication among financial professionals.

RDA co-advisor Lisa Saxton joins Moss Adams Wealth Advisors as financial advisor after having been with RDA for eight years. Additional team members include associate advisor Amanda Baker and administrative assistant Sylvia Fitzgerald. 

They will be joining the Moss Adams San Diego office, which has seven partners and over 50 staff providing audit, tax and consulting services. 

Moss Adams LLP was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Seattle. Moss Adams Wealth Advisors has provided personal wealth management, financial planning and insurance services since 1988.
