MYOB introduced MYOB Premier Accounting 2008, its new small business accounting application for Windows.
The software includes an itemized customer statement, with payments received, discounts taken and credits applied. Users can print or e-mail check stubs and payment notifications to communicate payment information to vendors, such as payments made, and discounts and debits taken.
Improvements in vacation and sick leave tracking allow for better tracking of employee vacation and sick time, including which days are taken, the reason for the time off, new accrual balance reports and automatic wage adjustments on timesheets. Other new features include support for Windows Vista, multiple employer IDs, inventory locations on forms, and the ability to choose a specific date to lock or close periods.
