NABA accepting 2019 scholarship applications

The National Association of Black Accountants has announced that it is now accepting applications for its 2019 National Scholarship Program through Dec. 15, 2018.

NABA has provided over $11.1 million in scholarship funds since its inception, aiding top students entering the accounting, finance and business fields. NABA has awarded more than $295,000 to students in the last three years alone.

To qualify for the 2019 scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be African-American or of African descent.
  • Be an active NABA student member, whose membership dues have been received by NABA's national headquarters by Dec. 31, 2018.
  • Be currently enrolled at a four-year U.S. college or university as a full-time undergraduate or full-time graduate student majoring in accounting, finance or business.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their major and a 3.3 GPA overall.
