NASBA CPT announces 2017 video contest winners
The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) has recently announced the winners and finalists of the 2017 Ethics in Action Student Video Competition.
Debuting in 2009, the annual competition seeks U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to produce short, original videos on ethical behavior in the business world.
This year saw 71 videos submitted from 19 college and universities across the country. Categories included Short Film (1-3 min); Commercial (1 min or less); and fan-favorite Viewer’s Choice picks. A "Finalists" category was also added this year due to the large number of submissions, with a $100 prize for each.
“It’s important that this competition spread across all campuses because the long-term effects of ethical leadership can make a tremendous impact on our world, today and tomorrow,” stated CPT president Alfonzo Alexander.
The following entries received First Prize in their respective categories:
Short Film Category:
"Betty’s Call" - Maryville University
"Nepotism" - Oral Roberts University
Viewer's Choice Short Film:
"Office Television" - Ohio University
Viewer's Choice Commercial:
"Fraud Triangle" - University of the Virgin Islands
