Software developer NetSuite released NetSuite OneWorld, an online accounting, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and e-commerce software system aimed at multinational and multi-subsidiary companies for managing their global business operations in real-time.
The system uses "cloud computing" technology to allow multiple companies and subsidiaries to operate the software from a single database. NetSuite said the software would provide the appropriate functionality for currency, taxation, language, reporting and dashboards wherever the user is located.
NetSuite is aiming the product at midsized companies as an add-on to its existing NetSuite software for an additional $1,999 per month, positioning it against Microsoft Dynamics GP and SAP.
