KLR elects next CEO

New England-based Top 100 Firm KLR has elected Paul Oliveira as its next CEO, succeeding Alan Litwin, who had led the firm for almost four decades.

A shareholder and director of the firm's strategic tax services group, Oliveira will take up his post in January 2023.

He joined the firm in 2004, and currently serves as office managing partner in Boston, and on the firm's Executive Committee and Operations Committee. He previously led KLR's tax practice group, and served co-chair of its private equity and venture capital practice group.

"I'm thrilled to lead the firm in this next stage and continue building on our success," Oliveira said in a statement. "My goal is to continue to expand on our world class client service and our commitment to growing our team. I am proud to lead such talented, dedicated professionals who work every day to service our clients."

Before joining KLR, he was a tax partner at Big Four firm KPMG, and also spent nine years in private industry. He earned bachelor of science in business administration and a master of science in taxation from Bryant University.
