New York Firm Appoints New Managing Partner

Accounting firm Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Co. has named a new managing partner, Martin L. Greenberg.

He succeeds Fred Shapss, who is becoming chairman of the firm. "Martin Greenberg is not only a great leader and deeply experienced professional, but also embodies and inspires our approach to working with and providing real value to our clients," Shapss said in a statement.

Greenberg joined RSSM in December of 1979. He specializes in tax planning for closely held businesses, as well as high-net-worth individuals.

In addition to accounting, auditing and tax, he provides consulting services including business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, litigation support services, and stockholder and employment agreements. Greenberg serves on the firm's executive committee and is a past chairman of the firm's marketing committee.
