NSA Updates EA Exam Review Course

The National Society of Accountants has updated the NSA Enrolled Agent Exam Review Course to conform to revisions in the Enrolled Agent Exam and changes in tax laws.

The range of topics has also been expanded and the course has been updated to match changes in the exam format made by Prometric, the company that administers the EA Exam.

Available in print, CD-ROM and PDF formats, the study guide for the course is written by tax author and lecturer John O. Everett. It includes hundreds of previous exam questions, which are explained and analyzed. The guide provides diagrams, examples and case studies that allow practitioners to learn the law.

The course can also serve as a resource for staff training on tax issues and as a refresher course on tax issues. It can also help people prepare for exams offered by the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation. ACAT exams are needed for individuals to obtain credentials such as the Accredited Tax Preparer and Accredited Tax Advisor. The course can also be used to prepare for the IRS’s tests for registered tax preparers.
