Mid-market accounting software developer Open Systems Inc. has released the latest version of its Open Systems Accounting Software, OSAS 7.6, which boasts over 130 enhancements, including improvements to e-mail delivery, user interface, return merchandise authorizations, purchase order deposits and its database.

“This is our most robust feature-set update ever,” said Open Systems vice president of development David Link. “Featuring next-level application enhancements, system-wide user interface improvements, and powerful reporting and archiving tools, there’s something in OSAS Version 7.6 for every business.”

In addition to the product release, Open Systems is enhancing training resources for OSAS customers and reselling partners.

Last month Open Systems introduced a new reseller unit focused on developing business within the Americas. The new program is targeting VARs, systems integrators and independent IT consulting firms within North America.

“We’ve put a lot of effort into increasing the amount of training material available on the customer and partner portals on OSAS.com,” said Open Systems vice president of sales Paul Lundquist. “The material there will help users get up to speed quickly, and will help resellers meet their customers’ needs. We encourage customers and partners to visit OSAS.com to learn more about the exciting developments in OSAS 7.6.”
