Orrtax Software Solutions has renamed itself IntelliTax to reinforce its current software line.
The company said the new identity would better reflect its future growth and direction. The new name echoes the company's professional tax preparer software products: IntelliTax Individual, IntelliTax Business and IntelliTax FastFile. To maintain continuity, the company has also renamed its IntelliManager multi-office management software as IntelliTax Manager.
The company has created a new logo that includes an Orrtax Software Solutions tag in smaller letters beneath the new IntelliTax name, but it plans to drop the Orrtax tag in about a year.
"Our new identity amplifies our brand position and value proposition," said IntelliTax president Matt Scheuing in a statement.
