Online bookkeeping service Outright.com has signed a partnership with H&R Block aimed at helping small-business owners deal with the increasing complexity of income taxes.
The partnership between H&R Block and Outright.com offers a combination of technology, resources, and expertise to free business owners from accounting and tax hassles automated cash management integrated with tax services, designed for the unique needs of a small business.
Through the partnership, small businesses using Outright.coms free, online accounting platform will be able to transmit their tax reports to H&R Block. Outright.com users will also have access to thousands of H&R Block tax professionals for tax advice and expertise.
True small-business owners dont have time to wade through tax legislation to see what, if anything, applies to them, said Outright.com chief executive Kevin Reeth. The Small Business Administration recently released a stat showing that the per-person cost of tax compliance for really small companies is three times that of larger companies. Outright and H&R Block are working together to reduce that cost for small businesses by connecting Outright users with H&R Block tax professionals to help them throughout the year and by simplifying and automating the filing of small-business tax returns.
