Paychex Adds Time and Attendance Web System

Payroll processor Paychex has introduced Time and Labor Online, an Internet-based time and labor management system.

Processing Content

The time and attendance system is designed for midsized companies. Time and Labor Online includes Web-based punching in and out, and scheduling features, as well as biometric and barcode time clock options. Paychex hosts the application, giving companies access to their data from any computer with Internet access. The software integrates with Paychex’s payroll-processing software.

Companies can implement and enforce policies to better adhere to state and federal regulations. Business owners can set policies such as restricting employees from punching in prior to their scheduled shift. The software also offers visibility into an employee’s scheduled hours and hours worked, allowing managers to see when an employee is approaching overtime, and to set up automatic reports that alert them to such situations. Businesses can also track the hours worked by class or function.
