Payroll and human resources giant Paychex Inc. has extended its Trusted Business Advisor Program relationship with the American Institute of CPAs’ CPA2Biz arm for the next five years, which will include an integrated payroll services component with CPA2Biz’s Cloud Client Accounting Services Platform.
Paychex was the first member of the Business Advisor Program, which launched back in 2003. In 2008, Paychex was named the preferred retirement services provider for AICPA members.
CPA2Biz has since added Bill.com, XCM Solutions, Copanion, Capital Confirmation, Apptix and Intacct to the program.
“This relationship [with Paychex] has far exceeded the high expectations we had set for it when it launched back in 2003,” said CPA2Biz president and chief executive Erik Asgeirsson. “We are now excited to take it to a new level with the rollout of a firm-based payroll platform, which will integrate with our growing suite of cloud-based solutions and allow Paychex to attract and engage an even broader segment of CPAs. We’re seeing a significant increase in the number of firms offering outsourced finance and accounting services to clients, and payroll is a critical component of this service.”
