Paychex Rolls Out Online HR Info System

Rochester, N.Y. (June 15, 2004) -- Paychex Inc. has added an Internet-based human resources information system to its administrative services offerings.

The company rolled out Paychex HR Online for its Major Market Services clients -- companies with 50 to 2,000 employees. HR Online offers 24-hour-a-day self-service Internet access for employees and managers. The system integrates fully with the MMS payroll system, Paychex Preview software, so updates made to employee information in HR Online are automatically communicated to the Preview payroll system.

Employees can update personal information, complete their benefit enrollment and access the employee handbook. Management features include benefit tracking, on-demand management reports, and hiring tools including employment applications.

Other features include online employee pay stub viewing and printing; benefit open enrollment; audit features that allow employers to approve employee updates; and a vacation/sick/paid time off posting approval process for department managers.
