Personable Unveils Scan-and-Populate Software

Automated data entry and workflow software provider Personable Inc. has released ScanWriter 2012, a cloud and on-premises-based automation technology designed to instantly process over 300 financial documents from banks, credit cards, brokerage firms and vendor invoices for QuickBooks and Excel files.

Key features of ScanWriter 2012 include increased speed; advanced reading capabilities; image correction; improved typing in the preview screen; custom mapping; an improved customer and vendor name setup; and a save and restore point. Every financial document is imported into QuickBooks, .OFX, .QIF, .XLS or .CSV formats for automated data entry.

There are three primary versions of the new Scan Writer 2012: an on-premises edition, a cloud edition, and an Excel edition.

ScanWriter On Premises automatically enters account coding, customer/vendor name, date, memo notes and more for QuickBooks. The Cloud Edition provides the same set of features as the on premises version without the need for installation, while the Excel Edition allows users the ease of converting all financial documents into Excel. This version also supports Excel-importing accounting and ERP software.

“ScanWriter can dramatically impact millions of companies by elevating their bookkeepers' productivity to a level they have never experienced before ScanWriter.” said Personable president Benjamin Chou. “By using ScanWriter, businesses, accounting firms, CPAs and bookkeepers can increase their productivity tremendously, while eliminating errors.”

For new customers who purchase by April 15, 2012, Personable will include a free scanner (a $395 value).
