Houston (May 21, 2003) -- Accounting firm PKF Texas has signed on as a reseller for nonprofit industry software developer Blackbaud, with exclusive rights to handle the vendor's Financial Edge fund accounting solution in the Houston market area.
"The nonprofit segment has been under-served for many years by the absence of credible and reliable service providers since many consulting firms left this space for the larger commercial sector opportunities," said PKF consulting solutions director Gregory Price. "Blackbaud is known throughout the world as a first-class product for the nonprofit market segment, and the Financial Edge is the clear market leader."
Blackbaud will be handled by PKF's technology consulting group, which also handles Microsoft' Business Solutions’ Navision commercial market accounting /enterprise software.
Separately, the accounting firm's entrepreneurial advisory services group handles Web-hosted business applications from Intacct Corp.
