Red Wing Software, a provider of financial management products for agribusiness and producers, has unveiled CenterPoint Payroll Version 4, an upgraded version of its payroll product.
Red Wing said the enhanced version allows for quicker set-up and streamlined reporting processes.
A new report designer in CenterPoint Payroll features fly-out tabs, which allow users to choose, add, edit or remove fields on reports. Users can now change the way columns are displayed, how reports are grouped and sorted, and how the report is filtered. Once edits are complete, reports can be named and saved for future use. A new Favorites tab has also been added to reports, so users can group reports the way they are used in their organization.
In addition, a new advanced employee earnings setup option enables employers to use the same earning code with different pay rates by department; a function typically found in much more expensive payroll programs.
