Sage Software released Sage Master Builder V. 13, adding the ability to drill down multiple levels from reports.
The feature aims to give construction companies better visibility into their financial and operations details. The software also offers estimation, production, project management and analysis features.
Sage acquired Master Builder from Intuit last year. In Version 12, released last year, Sage added an executive dashboard tool.
The latest version includes more than 1,000 pre-built reports from which users can drill down to see further details. The software is also compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista Business.
Sage also sells other accounting software for construction businesses, including Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting for Construction, aimed at small contractors, and Timberline Office, targeted at midsized to large companies. Sage Master Builder is intended for construction companies that outgrow Peachtree but have not moved up yet to Timberline.
