Sage Intacct, which makes cloud financial management solutions, has released the the Sage Intacct Nonprofit Financial Board Book Powered by GuideStar. The dashboard pulls information from Sage Intacct to provide nonprofit organizations with insight into their financial health.
GuideStar provides a nonprofit information database used by the technology. The dashboard is designed to automate the tracking and management of industry-wide best practice metrics, and provide benchmark information on nonprofit financial health, sustainability and mission impact. The metrics are automatically calculated using real-time balance sheet, revenue and expense data from Sage Intacct, and through additional operational sources from within the organization, including its donor management systems, budgeting and planning software, payroll, etc. The dashboard provides a graphical view of the key metrics recommended by GuideStar for nonprofit organizations.
Key feature of the dashboard include:
● Real-time visibility into key revenue composition and source;
● Organization health monitoring with key metric visualizations;
● Guided discussions with “questions to consider” content;
● Direct navigation to GuideStar for benchmarking information.
“Our new Nonprofit Financial Board Book incorporates best practices from GuideStar and enables nonprofits to more easily keep an eye on their balance sheet performance, funding mix, and the overall composition of key revenue sources to ensure sustainability,” stated Dan Miller, vice president of product for Sage Intacct.
“With the Sage Intacct Nonprofit Financial Board Book, organizations can get a more complete picture of their financial health and easily align their efforts with the key metrics GuideStar has identified for nonprofit success,” added Adrian Bordone, vice president of strategic partnerships for GuideStar. “We aim to ensure organizations have the financial capacity to deliver on their missions in an increasingly competitive funding environment.”
