Sage Software has released Sage BusinessWorks 7 Accounting, the new version of the company’s business management solution.

BusinessWorks 7 features “Payroll Your Way,” an integration with the company’s outsourced, online Sage Payroll Services targeting small and midsized businesses. The software also features a solution for in-house payroll processing with newly added e-filing capabilities and “Print-n-Sign” tax form creation, allowing users to automatically complete and print more that 250 forms for all 50 states and the federal government. Forms are updated quarterly.

Outsourcing services accessible with the software include direct deposits for multiple employee accounts; federal, state and local tax table updates; filings and reporting; outsourced or on-demand check printing from the desktop; and optional yearend W-2 filing and printing.
More than 30 enhancements are included in the new version -- including electronic funds transfer tracking, enhanced drop ship capabilities and copy parts, which allows existing inputs from a variety of form fields to be transferred into an new document.
