Sageworks has made major user interface and customization enhancements to its ProfitCents online financial analysis software for accountants and business consultants.

The company has streamlined the user interface and is providing greater accessibility from mobile devices and more customization, including a touch user interface for mobile and tablet devices. Report customization features provide new options to hide and scroll to any section. The system also offers new charts and narrative reports.

ProfitCents features simpler, task-based navigation and easier access to recent reports. Users can run a financial analysis report; add and edit financial information directly from the home screen; and access, edit and share reports from both tablets and smartphones.

The software adds new ways of customizing financial analysis reports. Financial advisors can customize the automated, narrative reports to evaluate and track specific metrics of most interest to clients, such as overhead and operating cash flow.

New help features include tutorials, FAQs and more. Walkthrough videos with step-by-step instructions guide users through the product, and live phone support remains available for specific questions and training.

“Users will still receive the clear, concise and accurate financial reporting that they have come to expect from Sageworks, but the delivery method has been dramatically improved,” said Sageworks CEO Scott Ogle in a statement. “We have redesigned the product to have a much more intuitive interface and more dynamic functionality, allowing for highly customizable reports that speak directly to the needs of our customers and their clients.”
