Salesforce.com Teams with Coda and Intacct

Salesforce.com is integrating its online customer relationship management software with financial systems from Coda and Intacct.

Coda's Coda 2go service will extend Coda's financial applications into the software as a service arena by running on top of Salesforce.com's Force.com software. Coda 2go is expected to be available in early 2008. It initially will include features for creating and managing sales orders, generating invoices and posting cash. Coda will subsequently expand the system to provide procurement and other financial management activities.

Coda also introduced integration software, Coda Integrator for Salesforce.com, to allow users of Force.com to interact with Coda's current financial software. Last week, Coda began selling Neon, the latest version of the software, with a new procure-to-pay system and invoice-matching engine.

On the small business side, Salesforce is also integrating with Intacct. Intaact Max combines Intacct's financial software with Salesforce's online CRM system. Intacct Max lets users convert an opportunity into a booked sales order and then takes over implementing rules for billing, revenue recognition and contract renewals.
