Season of Giving at Maryland Firm

At night, staff members of Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra Chartered turn into elves - at least during the holiday season.

Staff members from the firm's Lutherville office participated in Elf Night, a program of the Salvation Army and Business Volunteers Unlimited, sorting donations and assigning them to specific children's requests, helping the Salvation Army deliver gifts to over 1,800 families and 4,000 children. WC&S was a sponsor of the program.

In the firm's Bel Air office, staff "adopted" a family through Mason Dixon Community Services, collecting hundreds of dollars to buy everything on the family's wish list, as well as a gift card for a local grocery store.

The firm had kicked off its seasonal efforts with a food drive to benefit the Bea Gaddy Center, collecting several boxes of food for the center's Thanksgiving dinner.
