Cloud-based document storage and sharing service SmartVault has released SmartVault Version 3.3, which includes added security and compliance features, as well as an enhanced user interface.
“With this release, we’ve taken customer feedback and applied what we learned to elevate the system’s overall usability,” said SmartVault founder and chief executive Eric Pulaski. “We have to earn our customer’s business every month, and it is our job to provide them ongoing value to the SmartVault service.”
The latest release also includes a new user activity log, and a copy link feature that allows users to create a link to any file or folder in SmartVault and add it to their desktop, embed it in a file, or paste it into an outgoing e-mail message. The new version also provides the ability to create vaults and folders directly from a user’s SmartVault Drive. Previously, users could only create vaults from the SmartVault Portal.
