Intuit has partnered with leading online store providers to create an end-to-end, QuickBooks-compatible solution that lets businesses create a Web store, sell online, accept credit card payments and link all the business data directly with their QuickBooks accounting software.

Price: Monthly fee for Merchant Service - $17.95; one-time set-up fee - $59.95. Prices for Web store plans vary depending on provider, from $6.99 to $249.95 a month.

Offline SharePoint

Microsoft's SharePoint lets users in different sites work together on a project through the Internet - but what about those times when you can't get online? Big hard drives

From front to back

At the end of July, Fusion Software plans to release its new Accounting System Integration for Sage MAS 90, which creates tighter integration between the back-office accounting system and Fusion's point-of-sale system. The ASI will do away with the cumbersome and error-prone manual process of posting sales transactions from the POS system to MAS 90.
