Software Company Offers 'Recession Survival Kit'

Business planning software developer Adaptive Planning has created what it calls a "Recession Survival Kit" to help companies get better control of their financial processes and survive the economic crisis.

The Adaptive Planning Recession Survival Kit allows finance and executive teams to create and compare multiple top-down planning scenarios to understand how changes in key drivers would impact their business.

In uncertain economic times, finance executives must quickly model scenarios with varying levels of growth and expenditure and evaluate the impact to cash. The "what-if" modeling features in the software allow executives to analyze how varying sales volumes, expense levels, capital expenditures and other operational considerations would affect cash flow by modeling their income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements.

In addition, the package allows executives to obtain visibility into revenue and expense forecasts by capturing collaborative, real-time inputs from managers throughout a company. For example, companies can poll their sales organizations for current perspectives on pipelines, or gather input from cost center managers on opportunities for further expense reductions.

Adaptive Planning's Recession Survival Kit is priced at $9,750, which includes 10 user seats for Adaptive Planning Enterprise Edition software and a six-month subscription. For more information, visit www.adaptiveplanning.com
