Sorren adds two Nevada firms

Top 50 Firm Sorren acquired Persing Professional Group and Carefree Professional Practice Resources.

PPG, based in Reno, Nevada, services privately held businesses and their owners across health care, construction and service-related industries. CPPR, also in Reno, services dental practices and dental professionals. The deals expand Sorren's footprint in the northern region of the state and adds specialized expertise in key sectors.

Sorren, based in Meridian, Idaho, ranked No. 48 on Accounting Today's 2026 Top 100 Firms list. It reported $192 million in revenue, with over 100 partners and 1,110 employees across 24 offices. The firm is backed by private equity firm DFW Capital Partners and was formed in May 2025 through the combination of 13 firms

Sorren has been growing through acquisition. This year, it added Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn in Maryland, Hess & Rohmer in Texas, and Connected Accounting in California. Last year, it added Healthworks in Virginia, RTO & Co. in Oregon, and Casey Neilon in Nevada.
