Global performance management solutions provider Tagetik announced the general availability of the latest version of its unified CPM software, Tagetik 5, during its annual global conference.
Tagetik 5 has new capabilities in budgeting, forecasting and planning, consolidation and close, disclosure management and compliance, internal and external reporting, and workflow and process management.
“Our goal with Tagetik 5 is to bring customers innovation without disruption,” stated Tagetik co-CEO Marco Pierallini. “We’ve designed this new release with the future in mind even faster performance, the ability to store and process larger amounts of data, and streamlining navigation and access to any report from any mobile device to support an even larger number of users.”
The enhancements were made to usability, mobility velocity and flexibility, with new features including a redesigned process cockpit, a self-service dashboard, a redesigned HTML5-based interface for mobile, homepage customization, and new webforms. Tagetik also added SAP HANA as a backend database option, new connectors to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (in addition to existing integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX), and a new connector to Qlik’s business analytics platform, QlikView.
“We recognize that finance organizations don’t evolve at the same pace,” stated Luca Rossello, executive vice president, chief technology officer at Tagetik. “Therefore, just as we give customers a choice of deployment options (SaaS, enhanced cloud, or on-premises), we think it’s important to give customers a choice of the capabilities to implement, and the flexibility to choose when it makes business sense to do so.”
Tagetik also released its first mobile app, available for Windows 8 on the Microsoft App Store, with plans to offer more process-specific apps for Tagetik 5 mobile in the future.
