FRESHBOOKS DEBUTS IPAD APP

Toronto -- FreshBooks has released an iPad application designed specifically for service-based professional businesses that has up to 10 employees who use the Apple device. Following the recent launch of its iPhone app, FreshBooks for iPad is designed for small-business owners who want instant access to expense management, time tracking and online payment integration with invoices. The app is free for FreshBooks users.

 

NEW CCH MOBILE APPS FOCUS ON E-FILING AND CLIENT DATA

San Diego -- CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, released new mobile apps to monitor the status of e-filed returns, as well as to access client data in ProSystem fx.

First, CCH's new Mobile Electronic Filing Status app enhances the ability to monitor the status of e-filed tax returns from a smartphone or tablet. Users click the ELF icon on their mobile device for the latest information. Also, with the new ProSystem fx Mobile App, accounting and tax pros can access client contact information, including addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses, that are stored on CCH servers. ProSystem fx Mobile also lets users access their ProSystem fx Practice Intelligence content, but will soon expand to include other ProSystem fx Suite products and information. The ProSystem fx Mobile App also connects user with CCH IntelliConnect.

 

DEMANDFORCE DELIVERS QUICKBOOKS INTEGRATION

Mountain View, Calif. -- Online marketing and communications service provider Demandforce is now fully integrated with QuickBooks, six months after Intuit spent $423.5 million to acquire the company. By using the Intuit Partner Platform, Demandforce can now automatically pull key customer and transaction data from QuickBooks. This access to customer information lets small businesses target and customize their outreach efforts. After transactions are completed and an invoice has been created, Demandforce automatically sends a "thank you" e-mail to capture consumer reviews and satisfaction survey data.
