CPA2BIZ, ITA TO CO-LOCATE 2014 TECH CONFERENCES

Scottsdale, Ariz./New York -- CPA2Biz, the technology subsidiary of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Information Technology Alliance, an independent professional association of accounting firms, technology consultants and technology vendors to the profession, announced that they will be co-locating their respective conferences.

The CPA2Biz Digital CPA event will run from December 8-10 and the ITA event from December 7-9. The specific overlapping general sessions and tracks will be announced in the future, along with conference themes and keynotes.

 

OPEN SYSTEMS RELEASES OSAS 8

Shakopee, Minn. -- Business software provider Open Systems has released the latest version of their accounting software, OSAS Version 8. The updated enterprise resource planning system includes database enhancements that provide faster, more flexible access to business information, an automatic update mechanism, and a redesigned reporting engine that includes more than 400 redesigned reports and the ability to modify and export reports more easily.

 

AMEX AND INTUIT LAUNCH RECEIPTMATCH FOR QB

New York -- American Express OPEN, the small-business division of the financial services company, and Intuit announced the launch of ReceiptMatch with Quick-Books, a mobile and desktop integration to help small businesses sync their business card expenses with QuickBooks. Launched last year, ReceiptMatch is a mobile application and Web-based service that helps small-business owners reconcile their receipts on the go with their American Express Business Card online account.

 

COUGAR MOUNTAIN BETA TESTING DENALI PAYROLL

Boise, Idaho -- Cougar Mountain Software, provider of business, accounting, nonprofit accounting and point-of-sale software solutions, announced the release of their Denali Payroll accounting software to a select group of beta customers. Denali Payroll is geared to customers currently using the predecessor product, CMS Professional Payroll. After the beta testing period, the Cougar Mountain team will follow up on the feedback from the beta test customers.
