The Resource Group to Host Webcasts on Costs of Entry-Level Accounting Systems

Microsoft Dynamics GP partner The Resource Group will launch a series of webcasts beginning April 10, designed to educate companies about the hidden costs of entry-level accounting systems.

The webcasts aims to address common issues faced by growing companies currently using entry-level accounting products such as Sage 50(formerly Peachtree) and QuickBooks. Topics will include the risks associated with these systems, which may not be Sarbanes Oxley compliant, the need for tighter security to protect against fraud, and the value of integrating your accounting system with other business applications.

The first monthly webcast is scheduled to take place at 10 am PDT on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. A second webcast is scheduled for May 15, 2013 and registration is required for all events.

“The webcasts are designed to help growing companies identify cost savings they can achieve by upgrading their entry-level accounting software systems to a more robust ERP platform,” said Resource Group chief executive Marty Schillaci. “By making an investment into a mid-sized accounting software system, these growing businesses will be able to overcome important challenges, such as compliance and security issues. Plus, they will understand the value of improving processes to make strategic business decisions as they grow.”
