The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has acquired the publishing division of Chicago-based consultancy PDI Global Inc. for undisclosed terms, effective Tuesday.
The PDI publishing arm had produced newsletters, tax guides and developed custom content.
PDI Global chief executive Allan Koltin meanwhile is spinning off the consulting division of the company, which will be rebranded Koltin Consulting Group and offer consulting, M&A and recruiting services.
Koltin had originally sold PDI to H&R Block in 1998 but repurchased the firm 10 years later.
