Thomson Reuters Adds State Apportionment Planning

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has released a state apportionment planning tool on its Checkpoint online research service.

Data from compliance software can be imported into ONESOURCE State Apportionment to model scenarios based on various tax-related changes, including organizational restructuring, filing type, legislation, forecasting income, rates and apportionment. The planning tool also tracks all changes and maintains a historical version of each scenario to provide a comprehensive audit trail.

Licensed Checkpoint subscribers can access the software through the Tools tab.
