The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has named Marilyn Jentzen as the new vice president of sales and marketing of ONESOURCE Property Tax.
Based out of the Atlanta office and reporting to Joe Mulcahy, senior vice president and general manager of ONESOURCE Property Tax, she will be responsible for developing sales, marketing, and lead generation strategies to deliver on the Property Tax divisions annual performance goals.
Revenue deficits are resulting in more aggressive and cumbersome tax burdens from state and local governments, said Mulcahy in a statement. Yet companies are still expected to remain in compliance and balance their need to manage cash flow. With a proven track record of both delivering on performance goals, while helping clients meet their business taxation obligations in the most cost effective means possible, Marilyn Jentzen is a welcomed addition to our management team.
Jentzen joins Thomson Reuters from CrownBridge Group, a multinational company providing legal consulting, technology, and outsourcing solutions, where she served as chief operating officer and managing director. Prior to that, she was a director with Deloitte, where she focused on driving operational and financial performance improvements by formulating and executing on strategic plans in the areas of finance, technology, real estate, corporate development, and operations.
She also led significant global long-range planning projects, including the three-year business and financial planning process for Deloittes U.S. and Americas region. Additionally, she has consulted on multiple transformation efforts with Duke Universitys Fuqua School of Business, and is currently teaching in their MMS program.
