Payroll, tax and benefit services provider TimePlus Payroll announced its recent acquisition of West Columbia, S.C.-based American Business Payroll.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Senior vice president of sales Marty Hamby said that expansion of the company’s footprint in South Carolina is an important step in TimePlus’s growth strategy for the Southeast. The company has also recently expanded in Florida, Virginia and California.
American Business Payroll has provided customized payroll services for small and midsized companies since 1987. TimePlus will offer the business’s customers a full complement of payroll and timekeeping solutions, including an upgrade from their existing DOS-based system to TimePlus’s Internet-based service.
TimePlus has over 210 offices throughout the United States and Canada, providing local, personalized payroll services and technologies to over 30,000 businesses.
