Trilogy Scores Financing for Tax Software

Trilogy Software Inc. has completed its first-round equity offering of $3.3 million, which will be used to launch the company’s DoxCycle intelligent tax source document management software and to explore opportunities in the professional tax and accounting industry.

DoxCycle, which will launch commercially in January 2012, was designed to help professional tax preparers electronically organize and manage tax source documents, receipts and statements.

“We’re very interested in workflow efficiencies and automation,” said Trilogy founder and chief executive Cameron Peters. “By leveraging new technologies already embraced in consumer markets such as mobile, the cloud and .NET, we will bring a new level of productivity and efficiency to accountants and tax practitioners.”
