Australia-based Sage development partner Dingosoft has released a trust accounting module for Sage 300 ERP, which was created with the Sage 300 software development kit --the same set of tools used by Sage to develop their accounting modules.
The module provides a multi-user, multi-currency trust ledger and handles receipts, payments, transfers and adjustments. The integration with Sage 300 ERP Bank Services also enables trust bank account reconciliation, including importing of statements for automatic reconciliation.
“Whereas most products only have an API for integrating external apps, Sage 300 ERP was designed from the ground up with the ability for ISV’s to customize pretty much anything as well as extend the functionality including adding whole new modules to fill gaps in the market,” said Dingosoft chief executive John Paterson. “With trust accounting now in the back-office accounting app where it belongs, these firms are now also free to choose mainstream front office apps for functions like document management and calendaring.”
Dingosoft Trust Accounting will be officially launched at the Australian Sage Connect Partner Conference in Sydney later this week and will be available in North America through all Sage 300 reseller partners.
