UXC Eclipse Inc., the U.S. arm of Australia-based UXC Ltd., has purchased Tectura North America, effectively creating the largest Microsoft Dynamics reseller in the country.
Though financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Tectura’s operations in Canada, U.S. and Latin America will become UXC Eclipse, while Tectura will retain its businesses in Europe and Asia.
The deal, which was several months in the making, will see UXC’s U.S. staff grow from 85 to nearly 300 and over 600 globally with over 2,700 customers.
UXC Eclipse global chief executive officer, Bradley Stroop will drive the global integration process, with David Weiner retaining his role as U.S. president and Tectura CEO Duane Bell remaining involved in the Europe and Asia operations.

UXC had been building its North America operations since 2009 when it opened in Canada, then took on a U.S. office in 2011 and establishing a U.S. headquarters last year with the purchase of Dynamics partner Cole Systems. The firm was ranked 5th in the 2013 Accounting Today VAR 100 report, with a reported $85 million in revenue for the U.S. operations.
UXC U.S. president Weiner noted the similarities between the two organizations, as well as areas where Tectura will compliment their products and services not the least of which will be the addition of Microsoft Dynamics SL and NAV.
“The company [UXC] is doing well and has a respectful balance sheet and we had been looking to grow the UXC brand in North America, which has been going very well; this will allow it to go even better,” said Weiner. “They have complimentary and expanded products and services that we can offer, which was a plus, but then we met the people and they really seemed a great fit with us. They care, they give great service; there’s no B’ players on that team. So, from our view, yes we’re bigger but who we are as a company isn’t really changing. Our 24-7-365 help desk is very important, very few are doing that and all Tectura customers will get that now.”
Weiner also noted that the deal brings on new verticals for UXC, such as life science and manufacturing, where Tectura has a strong customer base. He also noted that Tectura was strong in areas where UXC is as well, including retail and enterprise asset management
