ARMANINO EXPANDS DYNAMICS BUSINESS

San Ramon, Calif. - Armanino Consulting, the tech consulting arm of CPA and business advisory firm Armanino McKenna, has expanded its West Coast presence through the purchase of San Jose, Calif.-based 1 Source Solutions.

The purchase will add nearly 30 staff members and offices in Portland, Ore., and Seattle. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The move allows Armanino to grow its Dynamics AX reseller business, which it added earlier this year. With the buy, Armanino will be able to service clients in California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. 1 Source was previously doing business as Fullscope West, with offices in San Jose and Portland. All staff will remain, while former 1 Source executives Bruce Kirschenbaum and Chris Moore will become new partners within Armanino Consulting.

TENSOFT AND MCGLADREY TEAM IN SOLUTIONS PACT

San Jose, Calif. - The technology consulting arm of national CPA firm RSM McGladrey and enterprise resource planning solution provider Tensoft have formed a strategic partnership whereby McGladrey will promote and deliver the Tensoft Revenue Cycle Management Suite to its customers and prospective customers, with a focus toward technology businesses. The Tensoft Revenue Cycle Management Suite was designed to automate a company's lifecycle business processes, such as billing and contract renewals, as well as revenue recognition and management.

DOC.IT PARTNERS WITH TSC

Hutchinson, Kan. - Document management solutions provider Doc.It has inked a partnership with Technology Services Corp. to deliver a full suite of document management technology and services to the U.S. accounting market, including workflow, portals, backup and implementation services. TSC will partner with Doc.It as a master VAR to provide consulting and implementation services. TSC will also focus on working with accounting firms that want to go paperless.

The Doc.It Suite includes PDF archiving, optical character recognition, staff scheduling, and other key features to help firms manage client services.
