Former California CPA Society chief executive Susan B. Waters has become principal of Sextant Consulting, here. Waters, who served as CalCPA CEO for four years before her resignation last October, will direct the firm's consulting practice. Sextant works with voluntary organizations and associations to achieve "vision, clarity focus and authenticity." A Certified Association Executive, Waters was CEO of the San Francisco Medical Society and the Massachusetts Bar Association before her stint at CalCPA.
