Western Pennsylvania Firms Merge

Pittsburgh’s Malin, Bergquist and Co. LLP and Greensburg, Pa.-based Deluzio, Teems & Anzovino announced that they have merged.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The combined firm will have 11 partners and 70 employees in western Pennsylvania

DTA serves a range of clients, including businesses, individuals, nonprofits and governmental organizations. Its clients have operations in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, as well as international clients in China, Puerto Rico and England. The firm, founded in 1957, will continue to operate under its own name as a division of Malin Bergquist.

Charles A. Deluzio will serve as managing partner for the Greensburg and Jeannette, Pa., offices, while David G. Bluemling will oversee the Pittsburgh location and Jeffrey E. Beach will oversee the Erie, Pa., office.

The other two partners joining Malin Bergquist are Jeffrey P. Anzovino and Joseph E. Petrillo.

Malin Bergquist specializes in a niche practice providing audits and consulting for foreign-owned businesses operating in western Pennsylvania, as well as local public companies. The firm also practices in the areas of automobile dealerships, financial institutions, tax-exempt organizations and family-owned businesses.

Both firms are members of CPAmerica/CPAConnect, a network of independent CPA and consulting firms.
