Wipfli buys Minneapolis-based Barefoot Technologies

Wipfli, no. 19 on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of Top 100 Firms, has acquired Minneapolis-based Barefoot Technologies, a consulting firm that provides development, integration, implementation, consulting and support services for the NetSuite platform.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Barefoot Technologies will do business as Wipfli going forward, and the its associates will be remain based in Minneapolis.

“Barefoot Technologies has a strong track record of providing NetSuite services to businesses in the Upper Midwest,” said Ken Kortas, Wipfli information technology consulting practice leader and partner. “This combination will expand our resources, enhance our services related to the NetSuite platform, strengthen our firm’s capabilities around e-commerce solutions, and deepen our offerings for job shops and inventory-based organizations.”
