Accounting Degree Review ranks the 30 most affordable online bachelor's degrees for 2016

Accounting Degree Review, an online resource in accounting education and other related topics, recently published their ranking of the Top 30 Affordable Online Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting.

The ranking weighs factors such as annual tuition rates (from the 2015-2016 academic year) and other fees in determining list placement. Western Governors University holds the lowest annual tuition rate on the list with $5,780. Chardron State College and Southern Oregon University followed at the #2 and #3 spots, sharing a tuition cost of $7,380 each.

"With rising tuition costs, Accounting Degree Review felt that ranking affordable online schools would be a useful resource for prospective students who want to attend college but do not want to incur a large amount of debt," wrote Kate Lau, editor at Accounting Degree Review, in a statement. "The fact that these programs are also online allows students with obligations outside of school--such as work or family--to receive an affordable education that is flexible."
