AICPA and Junior Achievement launch digital 'Accounting Career Guide'

The AICPA, along with Junior Achievement USA, announced on Thursday the launch of a new online resource: "Accounting Career Guide." Hosted by Junior Achievement's JA My Way, the Guide combines Junior Achievement content with resources from AICPA's "Start Here. Go Places" educational campaign to cover the various career paths available to young people in the accounting and CPA profession.

"The accounting field and the CPA profession present great career possibilities for young people," said Jack Kosakowski, president and CEO of Junior Achievement USA, in a statement. "Not only are these careers challenging and rewarding, there is tremendous demand for them. We are pleased to present this resource to teens so that they can explore what accounting has to offer as they start to consider their plans for future careers."

The Accounting Career Guide lets young people explore the benefits of becoming an accountant or CPA online. Participants can engage with JA-created content, as well as various activities developed by the AICPA's Start Here. Go Places initiative. The Career Guide is available free of charge and available to all interested in exploring accounting-based careers.

The Accounting Career Guide can be found on Junior Achievement's site here.
