The CFO Alliance has released a study examining the compensation programs offered to CEOs, CFOs, controllers, accounting managers and marketing and sales executives at mid-market companies.

The study looks at some of the trends in short-term and long-term incentive compensation programs. It found some significant differences in compensation by industry sector, company size and region, along with changes in incentive compensation plans. The report analyzes some of the performance metrics for determining compensation, along with the impact of compensation programs on the performance of employees and financial results.
