Herbein + Company Tee off For Tax Time Relief

Here’s an idea to try if you’re in need of a busy season break and want to do something good for the world at the same time – tee-off for charity. That’s what Reading, Penn.-based Herbein + Company did, complete with a post-game party for staff.

Combining stress relief with fundraising, the firm set up a miniature golf course throughout both floors of its office. Each golfer paid $5 to play and the low scorer chose a nonprofit organization as a benefactor for all the winnings.

“Our entire team has been working long hours for weeks as busy season really heats up,” said Michael J. Rowley, the firm’s chief operating officer. “The Herbein Invitational will help bring everyone together as we mentally prepare for the final push towards April 15.”
