Penelope Trunk, founder of Brazen Careerist, a Web service to help companies find candidates, answered these and other common questions about Millennials in a recent blog post.

Here’s a taste of the answers to the two posed above:

If a Gen Yer hates his boss, he quits. Millennials switch jobs an average of once every 18 months.

Gen Y doesn’t feel entitled to a huge salary. In fact, they choose other things over salary: respect for other people, for example.

“Employers: You could save money in salaries by being a socially responsible company that Gen Y (and the rest of us) want to work for,” Trunk writes.
