Congrats to Louisville, Ky.-based Louis T. Roth & Co. for being selected as a recipient of the 2010 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.
We all take a great deal of pride in this recognition and accomplishment, especially since this award is partly based on employee feedback, said Barry Christensen, CPA, PFS, managing partner and chief executive of Louis T. Roth & Co. Being recognized for this award is a concrete indication that our strategy is working.
Two steps are included in the selection process. First, employer responses are measured against national data from Families and Work Institutes National Study of Employers. Employers are then surveyed on their access to flexible work options, the supportiveness of the culture and on nationally tested measures of workplace effectiveness.
Award recipients are in the top 20 percent of employers nationally in terms of its programs, policies and culture for creating an effective and flexible workplace.
